WILL SMITH CONFIRMS HE WILL NOT ATTEND 2016 OSCARS

Popular actor Will Smith has joined his wife Jeda Pinkett Smith, as some of the big names to pull out of The Oscars, coming up next month.

Will smith said it would be "awkward" to be a part of
the show in the light of the row about the lack of representation among this year's nominees.

In an interview on Thursday, Smith said: "Everybody is beautiful and deserving and fantastic, but it feels like it's going the wrong direction" 

"There's a regressive slide towards separatism, towards racial and religious disharmony and that's not the Hollywood I want to leave behind."
