VAN GAAL, MOURINHO DIVIDE MANCHESTER UNITED BOARD

It seems Manchester United are still finding it hard to get a perfect replacement for sir Alex Ferguson after he retired from coaching two seasons ago. Ferguson's preferred choice, David Moyes, a former Everton Manger, Moyes manged 51 games as united manager, won
27, drew 9 and suffered 15 defeats. Dutch manger Luis Van Gaal was handed the mantle and termed as the best man for the job but barely two years later, he is under fire by United for under performing.

Sacked Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho now seems favorite to take over the mantle of leadership of the team which has generate controversy among United's board members.

According to report, United's executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward, is hoping Louis Van Gaal finishes in the top four, that woild see him continue as the team boss next season . another senior board member feels Mourinho should finally get his wish to manage the team given his trophy-wining record.

It would be recalled that fan booed Manchester United after they suffered a 1-0 home defeat to Southampton on Saturday.
