UBA retirees have taken to the street to protest the N10,000 paid to them by the bank as their monthly pension, a situation they described as pitiful .
Report have it that the protesters were personnel who worked at the top level in their service days. Among them were former senior managers, principal managers, supervisors, sub-managers among others.
Haven spent up to 12 to 22-years with the Bank these senior citizens are now calling for Nigeria government, Nigeria Labour Congress to come to their rescue.
The bank last month, agreed to increase the sum by N2000 but was rejected by the retirees.
