FILMMAKERS TAKE PROTEST TO LAGOS HOUSE OF ASSEMBLY OVER PIRACY

The presence of actor turned politician Desmond Elliot in the Lagos State House of Assembly, has started yielding result  result especially in the movie industry.



film makers again took to the Hose of Assembly to protest the continues activities of movie pirate.

Popular actor Osita Iheme who was also among the protesters, pleaded for the state government to give Nollywood a piece of land to build movie village where movies will be sold in a bid to curb piracy.

Lagos House of Assembly in its response said a committee will be set up to look into the demand of the movie makers and actors.
