AYEW BATTLES SILVER, SMALLING, GOMIS, KOLAROV FOR EPL PLAYER OF THE MONTH

Ghanaian and Swansea forward Andre Ayew's instant impact in the English Premier League has paid off with his
nomination for the player of the month award.

Ayew is on a six-man shortlist alongside teammate Bafetimbi Gomis, Manchester City duo of David Silver and Aleksander Kolarov, Leicester City's Riyad Mahrez and Manchester United defender Chris Smalling.

EPL will announce the winner on Friday.
