FAKE EFCC OFFICIAL ARRESTED IN LAGOS

The rate of unemployment in Nigeria have forced citizens to create jobs for them selves but some in a wrong way.


Two weeks ago, a fake LASTMA official was arrested in Mile-2 part of Lagos and less than 14-days later, a 40-year old man Ayodeji Albert, who allegedly forged the identity of official of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), was arrested in Lagos on Monday.


The offence was committed on August 25 according to the prosecutor, Inspector Simeon Imhonwa.

The suspect Albert denied the allegation but the prosecutor said the offence contravened section 78 and 368 of the criminal law of Lagos state, 2011. Magistrate, Mrs Bola Osunsami granted bail for the accused in the sum of 50,00 Naira with two sureties.
