KWARA POLY RESTRICT ADMISSION INTO MANAGEMENT COURSES

The Kwara state Polytechnic management has warned  all  students seeking admission into the  institution, to take science courses as their choice, because
 polytechnic is meant for technologists and not management courses.

While reacting to questions from journalists in Ilorin,the rector of the institution Masud Elelu says the main reason of establishing  Polytechnic is for the country to produce abundant technologists with specialization in various fields.

He further stressed that most of the time, admissions are extended to accountancy, business administration and other courses in management  because of the rate at which students seek admission to tertiary institutions.

He advised guardians to orientate their children who wish to seek for admission into Kwara polytechnic to go for sciences and not management courses.

The kwara state polytechnic enjoins all prospective students  to ensure they have deep knowledge about the courses they want to go for before choosing  institution of their choice.
