LECTURERS OF OSUN TERTIARY INSTITUTIONS DECLARE TOTAL STRIKE (SEE VIDEO)

Lecturers at the four state owned tertiary Institutions in osun state have declared a total and Indefinite industrial action  following what they term as "breach" on the part of government on all the agreements reached at the last negotiating table.

Rising from the
congress   held simultaneously across the four institutions in Iree, Ilesa, Esa-Oke and Ila Orangun towns in the state ,the lecturers under the aegis of ASUP and COESUP resay the option of total down tune became enhanced  by the unlawful termination of appointments of lecturers and stoppage of admission into the institutions among others.

‎However,the osun state government says the retrenchment is in line with its  restructuring exercise of the education system to help produce graduates who can favourably compete with their counterparts.
