KOGI ELECTION: FAYOSE ANGRY AT BUHARI OVER ALLEGED 12.5BN FUNDS TO APC

Ekiti State governor Ayo Fayose, has allegedly criticized the Buhari led APC government for releasing a whopping sum of
N12.5BN from the Treasury Single Account as donation to Kogi state Chapter of the All Progressive Congress.

The governor allege the sum is to give APC financial power to rig and manipulate the gubernatorial election in the state.

Minister of Information, Lai Mohammed, denied the allegation, stressing that this administration will never involve in such act.

Fayose said: “The APC-led government only goes around the challenges confronting the nation, the issue of Boko Haram, and the dwindling economic situation became worse in the last six months of the Buhari administration. This government has only achieved a lot in the area of chasing shadows, making the nation worse for the people."
