JAPAN LAMENT 2020 OLYMPIC MIGHT SUFFER MAJOR SET BACK DUE TO FINANCE

The 2020 Olympic games may suffer major set back as host nation Japan, has said it cannot guarantee that the main stadium for games will be
completed by January 2020 as requested by the International Olympic Committee.

Original plan of the stadium was scraped by Japan's prime minister, Shinzo Abe, after construction cost rise to $2bn from an initial $1.2bn which provoked public outrage. However, Tokyo is expected to come up with a new plan this August that will accommodate the country's budget.
