Nigeria Football Federation Organizing Committee will meet in few days time to decide a new date for and venue for 2015 Federation Cup final for both men and women.
NFF General secretary sited All African Game as reason for the postponement, as most of the player will be representing Nigeria in the tournament.
“It is true that at the draw ceremony for the national finals of the Federation Cup, the NFF had picked August 30 as date for the grand finale. But a number of factors have now combined to make the date unrealistic.
Bayelsa Queens of Yenagoa and Sunshine Queens of Akure will contest the women's Federation Cup final, while Lobi Stars of Makurdi and Akwa United of Uyo will battle for the men's gong.
