Nigeria's Segun Odegbami, who has already gotten the backing of the Nigeria football Federation to run for FIF president, has now blame former
FIFA executive committee member Amos Adamu for his failure to get support from other African countries.
On a radio interview, Odegbami said: “Where were Amos Adamu and (Orji) Kalu yesterday (Monday)? It’s a Nigerian thing to bring down others, Well, I have done my own bit and it is left for others to do theirs.”
It would be recalled that former Abia state governor Orji Uzor Kalu, was also linked with the fifa presidential vacant position but did not present or submit any document for his candidacy.
Odegbami said Adamu's recent alleged corrupt fifa investigation on him has also contributed to African countries seeing Nigerians as corrupt.
Amos Adamu has also endorse Kalu as his candidate for the FIFA presidential role
